The Oxford series of 1:148 scale Fodens continues with the release of this oval tanker in one of the original British fuel liveries from the late 1940s and '50s, that of the Regent Oil Company. Regent was the trademark of the company and their bright livery was a familiar sight, particularly in rural areas, with its petrol pumps lit by the Regent globe in the same corporate colours. Our little model is registered JCL 130 and the authentic company colours of red upper body, white centre banding and bright blue lower body are enhanced with gold lettering along the sides. The cab and chassis echo the bright blue bodywork while the wheel centres are reproduced in bright red. The front wheel hub trims are finished in silver. Along the top of the tanker, the ladder, walkways and tanker caps are silvered and the hoses running along the tanker sides are black. Additional printing on the vehicle is applied in white.
